Caching is an important topic to cover. Many times an issue can be cache-related, and there's important caching exceptions we need to implement for your new website.

At this point, if you were to visit your new homepage it may not load correctly. That's because we need to clear Divi's Static CSS cache. To do this:

Navigate to: Admin Menu > Divi > Theme Options > Builder > Advanced tab > Static CSS File Generation: Enable > click the "Clear" button > Static CSS File Generation: Disable > click "Save Changes" button.

Next, clear the cache of any caching plugins already installed. For instance, Cloudways pre-installs their "Breeze" caching plugin with every WordPress installation. This would not have been a plugin deleted in an earlier step.

Also, for any caching plugins you have installed now or in the future, ensure the Booking Page URL is excluded from caching. That is your online payments portal, so it's vital customers can wipe personal information when refreshing the page.

If you run into further issues seeing changes on the front-end of your website, clear your browser cache. This can be done by holding SHIFT on your keyboard + clicking the "Refresh" button in your browser.

Lastly, anytime you make major changes to your website, it's always best to clear the cache of Divi's Static CSS, your caching plugins, and your browser. Additionally, sometimes it's necessary to clear the cache of your server and CDN (if applicable).

In the next article, we're going to cover updating links in the demo content, so they accurately point to URLs on your website.
