If you've installed the Divi Testimonial Slider plugin prior to importing 5 Star Hotel's demo content, example testimonials will exist on your website. If you've opted not to use Divi Testimonial Slider, please skip this article.
While reviewing your website, you may notice some testimonial sections aren't displaying correctly as they do in the 5 Star Hotel online demo. We are going to fix that now, so each Page and Service Post which uses testimonials displays them correctly. To do this:
First, review the following Pages to ensure they contain a working testimonial section: Booking; Food & Wine; Home; Location; Spa. For those testimonials that aren't displaying...
Navigate to: Admin Menu > Pages > All Pages > click "Edit" for each affected page > ensure you're editing with the Divi Builder > find the Testimonials module (already in the layout) > open the Testimonials module Settings > General Settings > Display Testimonials By Category: Specific Category > Specific Categories: check all that apply > "Save & Exit" Module > Update/Save Page > view the Page to ensure testimonials now display correctly.
Next, we'll ensure the Service Posts each contain a working testimonial section. To do this:
Navigate to: Admin Menu > 5 Star Services > All Services > click "View" for each Rooms and Package Post > If no testimonials display > click "Edit" for each affected post > ensure you're editing with the Divi Builder > find the Testimonials module (already in the layout) > open the Testimonials module Settings > General Settings > Display Testimonials By Category: Specific Category > Specific Categories: check all that apply > "Save & Exit" Module > Update/Save Page > view the Service Post to ensure testimonials now display correctly.
