If you've installed the HBook Hotel Booking System plugin prior to importing 5 Star Hotel's demo content, example accommodations will exist on your website.  If you've opted not to use HBook, please skip this article.


To be clear, this installation guide is intended to get your website up-and-running just like the 5 Star Hotel online demo (including example accommodations).


Since you'll have different Seasons, Rooms, Service Fees, Discounts, etc. for your unique hospitality business, it's not efficient to inform what exact HBook plugin settings we used to create our demo (since yours will be different, and they are not automatically imported in the one-click install process). 


The very first step to setting up HBook is to follow HBook's detailed plugin documentation from top to bottom. Click this link for the HBook plugin setup guide. Once your Seasons, Rates, Services Fees, etc. are created, move on to the next step.


Next, we'll connect the Room Posts created with the "5 Star Services" plugin to the Accommodations created with the HBook plugin. To start this process, we need the ID number for each Room Post. To do this:


Navigate to: Admin Menu > 5 Star Services > All Services > click "Edit" for each Room Post > copy the Post ID found in the address bar URL represented as [post=XXXX], where XXXX is an unique number value > write down this Post ID number for each Room Post.


Next, we'll add these Room Post ID's to each HBook demo Accommodation imported via the one-click install process. To do this:


Navigate to: Admin Menu > Accommodation > All Accommodation > click "Edit" for each Accommodation > Accommodation Settings > ID of the page used for displaying the Accommodation: (enter Post ID number for corresponding Room Post) > Update/Save Page.


Next, we'll complete the loop. HBook now links each Accommodation to its corresponding Room Post, but we must also link each Room Post to its corresponding Accommodation. To start this process, we need the Accommodation ID number for each HBook Accommodation. To do this:


Navigate to: Admin Menu > Accommodation > All Accommodation > click "Edit" for each Accommodation > below the Accommodation Title there's an "Accommodation ID" number. Write down this number for each Accommodation.


Next, we'll add these Accommodation ID's to each corresponding Room Post (and complete the loop). To do this:


Navigate to: Admin Menu > 5 Star Services > All Services > click "Edit" for each Room Post > Edit the module titled "Room Reservations Form" > notice a string of text that includes [accom_id="XXXX"], where XXXX is an unique number value > change this value to the corresponding Accommodation ID number > "Save & Exit" Module > Update/Save Page


Success! You've now connected each HBook "Accommodation" with its corresponding 5 Star Services "Room Post". This process must be completed for every new accommodation you create in future. For further customization instructions beyond the scope of this article, click here.
